Prompt
The prompt for this project was to design and create six different playing cards with three being face cards and three being number cards. We then had to create an interface in which the user can interact with the cards by either adding or deleting them as well as creating a collapsed view and spread view. Values and number of cards was also a requirement that change with each add or deletion of a card. Lastly, indicators alerting the user whether they can't add or delete any more cards must be created.
Project Goals
A key goal I wanted to achieve with this project was the use of simplicity and representation. Everyone knows what playing cards look like and what each specific value and face card looks like. So how far could I simplify and deconstruct each card and still hold the same recognizable features and aesthetics of traditional playing cards? This is what I experimented with in this project.

What I learned
This project was my introduction to the world of Figma and its powerful prototyping and testing capabilities. Before I had started this project, I had no prior experience with Figma. I learned about the importance of creating an organized file layout and workspace to be able to work as efficiently as possible especially as the prototype gets more complex and more prototyping wires are added. I learned a lot about what makes a user interface effective and concise. When I had first started, I originally had an idea for an interface that significantly more complicated and quickly found out it was very complex to be able to understand as a user and converted my screen to a much more simple and concise layout that allowed the user to be able to easily navigate through.
